About Whitecourt
Whitecourt, AB is one of the midpoints stops between Grande Prairie and Edmonton. This destination is full of culture and things to do inside and outside of town. Nature enthusiasts will have much to discover on the hiking trails at the Whitecourt Mountain Natural Area, or spend overnight outdoors at Sagitawah RV Park and Gampground. The township also has both the Athabasca River and Macleod River flowing alongside the town, offering more outdoor activities in the summertime.
For sports lovers, you can drive a ball down the fairway at the Whitecourt Golf Course. Those wanting to find out about the town’s cultural history will be able to learn it all at the Forest Interpretive Centre and Heritage Park.
